BotDoLabs Inc ("BotDoLabs," "we," "us," or "our") builds AI-forward financial software, including BotDoPay and BotDoTax. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to botdolabs.com and to our products and services (together, the "Services").

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the Services, and information we process on behalf of our business customers.

• Account and profile information when you or your organization sign up for a product.
• Documents and financial data you upload, such as invoices, tax forms, and receipts.

Information collected automatically

• Device, browser, and usage information such as IP address, pages viewed, and interactions with the Services.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to operate, secure, and improve the Services.

2. How we use information

• To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Services.
• To respond to your requests, including demo requests and support inquiries.
• To process documents and financial data to deliver product functionality such as document extraction, matching, and reporting.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or lead-generation purposes. Phone numbers and other consumer personal information are never sold, and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or lead generation. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We share information only in the limited circumstances described below:

• Service providers. With vendors who process data on our behalf to operate the Services (for example, hosting and infrastructure), under contracts that require them to protect the data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
• At your direction. When you or your organization ask us to share information, such as integrating with QuickBooks Online.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BotDoLabs, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this policy.

4. Data on behalf of customers

When our business customers use BotDoPay or BotDoTax, we process documents and financial data as a processor on their behalf and under their instructions. If you are an individual whose information appears in that data, please direct privacy requests to the relevant business customer.

5. Data retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, and every action in our products is logged for an audit-ready trail.

6. Your choices and rights

• You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal limits.
• You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
• Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR. Because we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, no opt-out of sale is necessary.

7. Children's privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. International users
